negativeI like that you broke down each expense by different currencies, but you guys must be Rich, cause there is no way I could spend that much. Not happenin. 😁
negativeThanks for the thoughts - yeah we agree, small incremental changes that aren't all that noticeable, but it is happening !
negativeBali is much more expensive than other parts of Indonesia. Have you been to central Java? Highly recommend it.
negativebali is so expensive because people turn up and say "WOW THIS IS SO CHEAP, HERES TEN TIMES MORE MONEY.... SO CHEAP" same thing happened to thailand and is now happening to vietnam
negativeNot a cheap place anymore, Vietnam is the best place now, more developed less hogan's and great people
negativeMate. Flights have become really expensive. Any tips to get cheaper options . Roundtrip is around 35-40k now
negativeGili Trawangan is just a few kilometres away from Lombok, yet prices there are several times higher. Worse still, most supermarkets don’t mark their prices clearly. The mosque starts the call to prayer at four every morning and it lasts until six. The beaches on Gili T also have rough sand and coral. The water is very shallow near shore, but right after the beach ends, the sea drops off steeply into deep water. I prefer Thailand’s fine, soft sand beaches with a gentle, gradual slope from shallow to deep water. Most visitors there don’t actually swim; they just lie on the beach to relax. So Bali works well for them, along with people who come for surfing.
negativeYou booked the flight 6months in advance ?? Even when I tried with 2 months in advance , it showed double this price
negative@emailstoairportsor aap Aab fare Dekho recent ka 3 months jb final payment krne waqt with taxes it will go around 50k for one person round trip
negativeThis is with luggage, the rates are higher now because of extra fuel charges may be. This price is when we booked 4-5 months in advance .
positiveWe definitely went a bit overboard on this trip, you can definitely do it way cheaper! 😅
positiveYou can get a nice hotel in Kuta for about $18NZD/night (if staying for a while), $6 lunch & dinner at the hotel or warang it’s super cheap, nice walk along the beach a couple of times a day fantastic.. You can go much higher end as these guys did but for a long stay basic living is very good lovely beautiful place, lovely people - but very hot..
positiveSo glad I’m an Aussie it’s so much cheaper
positiveBut Bali isn't expensive? Not as cheap as Vietnam and Thailand is like a whole different economical beast
positivewell new zealand prices are expencive so anywhere you go to outside your country is cheaper or much cheaper right?
positive100%! Better quality in a lot of ways, but also cheaper
positiveMinimum return flight from Delhi is 50k. 35-40k is a good price.
positiveBali isn’t too expensive dont worry
positiveShould be alright, I think if its direct flight its a pretty good deal 😊
unclearLove ❤️ the videos as always. What do you guys think about the future of Bali up or down in prices? They continue to keep building. Nalu looks so cute. We want to hug Him.🫂🫂 Hope you guys are doing ok. Sending you hugs 🥰 and kisses from Jim Harriet and Yuki currently in Boston, MA
neutralWe were in Bali about 4 years ago right after Covid and the prices seem to be about the same. So many YouTubers are saying Bali is really expensive now but your video seems to contradict that. You guys are such good people. We love watching your videos.
neutralIt depends on what, when and how you book, we have shown all the details with proof of price.

negative@ujjwaljhawar999IDP for Indonesia is restricted for Indians.. I’m also thinking what to do about this. Heard some suggestion that we can get IDP of Malaysia or Thailand and it would still work. Please let me know what you are planning to do.
positiveYou don’t get IDP for a specific country. It is valid for most foreign countries. While indonesia doesn’t come under the list but it still officially recognises the IDP issued from india.
positive@ujjwaljhawar999that would be safer 😅
neutralI was wondering how did you get International Driver's Permit? I am trying to apply for Indonesian IDP, and Indonesia is in the list of Restricted Countries on Parivahan website. I also checked with my nearest RTO office. They also said, I will not get IDP. If Indonesian Police catch you driving a scooter/car without IDP, I have heard, the fine is 25k Indian Rupees. Please reply.
neutralIs IDP required for scooty ?
neutralNot necessarily. I carried IDP but no one asked for it anywhere in bali.
neutral@wandering_milessHey brother, how did you get IDP for Inonedsia?Indonesia is under restricted countries list when applying for IDP via parivahan website. And is it okay to ride a scooty there without IDP?
neutral@wandering_miless How to apply.. Donwe need to go through driving test.. I'm From pune
neutralInternational driving licence required for scotty ?
neutral@thelosttravellerrwrong, its absolutely required
neutralthank you for answering,a follow up Question regarding renting bikes, is it mandatory to have IDP? or where we can rent w/o it in any place in bali?
neutral@VinayVishnaniyou can rent without IdP everywhere but there is strict checking on mainland. nusa penida is fine without IDP there is not a lot of checking there.
neutralM Planning for April.. one more thing can you clarify about international driving licence.. except Ubud area can we rent scooter without international driving licence what u guys did to explore ulluwatu Seminyak or kuta
neutral@emailstoairportsthank you really appreciated.. so now m applying for international driving licence so I can explore more freely all the areas

negativeThat's a very relevant point for anyone in NA, it's a loooong way to travel! But we always offer the counter point of value, you spend more on flights but look at what we got for like $280 USD in a day!
negativeAround 1 Lac per person as flights are a bit too high these days
negativeMate. Flights have become really expensive. Any tips to get cheaper options . Roundtrip is around 35-40k now
negativeReally valuable firsthand perspective — interesting (and a bit depressing) to hear the airport taxi situation has spread to Jogja train station too. The dynamic pricing squeeze on hotels and flights is something a lot of travelers mention but rarely gets covered as a scam in its own right. Hope Jogja treats you better than the booking process did.
positiveMein july 2026 mein plan kiya... flight within 40k,,,with 2 country Bali, Indonesia and Khala Lampur,Malaysia

positiveYou can skip gilli as this journey is quote hectic , nusa penida is simple. Yoy can cover more places on mainland like kuta , canguu or towards the northern region for more offbeat waterfalls and stuff. We did not visit the sweet area.
positive@VinayVishnaniyou can rent without IdP everywhere but there is strict checking on mainland. nusa penida is fine without IDP there is not a lot of checking there.
positiveScuba is best in Nusa Penida or Gilli islands , both have beautiful corals and clear waters. It is absolutely safe just book with PADI certified companies.
neutralHi, I have a question, when charting a car from airport to Ubud for 6 or 10hrs with tours on the way, do you also provide for your drivers food? Do you also have to give tips all the time when charting a ride or joining a tour? Not to be stingy but I am the sponsor for 9 people, I am the only one paying for everything from flight, hotels, food, etc on our 6days and 5nights trip to Bali so I want to know these small details. Also, when booking Nusa Penida on Klook, do they really not allow children of 5 years old and 60 plus years old to join the tour?
neutralThank you for this informative video. I am confused where to start my trip? Ubud or Uluwatu? I was thinking to start from Uluwatu - Nusa Penida- Gilli Island - Ubud. Please advice?

neutral@emailstoairportsI totally agree to it , but the point is If we are travelling different locations then do we need to carry our luggages? Ex. Nusa penida tour which is Via Ferry & we want to stay in Tree houses etc so what to do in such cases?
neutral@devraj225i suggest you can stay mostly on the mainland - explore ubud, seminiyak and take a day tour to nusa penida to save time in ferry rides. Coz even if you can stay one night in nusa penida you will not be able to do any snorkelling tour coz all of them start early and return ferries also start early.
neutralGood information given.... is internet works in nusa penida??
neutral@ujjwaljhawar999internet works well in Nusa Penida. Thanks for watching our video ❤

Padahal Singapore saja malah membuat pantai.
negativeI negotiated with a Grab driver outside Sanur Harbour for a motorbike ride to my accommodation, as I had no mobile network. We agreed on 120,000 Indonesian rupiah. When we arrived at the destination, I handed him 150,000 rupiah, but he refused to give me the change no matter what. I kept asking for my change, yet he still wouldn’t pay it back and rode away. Later, I connected to the internet and checked Grab: booking the same trip through Grab would only cost 70,000 rupiah.,Supermarkets in that area charge very high prices, catering specifically to tourists. Most importantly, Bali has no beaches suitable for swimming, and the sand is extremely coarse. One of my main goals for travelling is swimming, so I won’t be coming back. Let those who love Bali enjoy it. I’ll stick with Thailand instead.
negative@yo_wassupdude You can tell you’re not much of a swimmer. Most beaches in Bali have shallow water, with volcanic rocks scattered all over the seabed. You might walk a full kilometre out into the sea and the water only reaches your waist, or even shallower. Further out are huge waves, great for surfing but not suitable for swimming.
positiveHave been in Bali just over a years ago and I have to admit, all the Thai islands are far better than Bali. Beaches much more cleaner, the water in the ocean is more turquoise, thai food much more yummy. Bali it's good and I love people over there but highly overrated in my humble opinion.
positiveI totally get what you mean! Bali definitely isn’t going to be everyone’s favourite, especially when you compare it to some of those incredible islands around Asia. My favourite island trip for beaches and snorkelling was actually the Philippines. I went back in 2017 and absolutely loved it, so I’d really love to go back one day and explore more. Have you been to the Philippines as well? I’d be curious to know how you think it compares with Thailand. Happy travels
positiveBali has no beaches suitable for swimming?? Lol. There are both coarse and smooth sand beaches all around bali. White sand, brown sand, black sand, you name it.
positiveI am pretty certain you could have walked up to the front desk of your accommodation and they would have given you change for your 50,000. or a convenience store was probably nearby. So that is on you. The fact that you agreed to the price of 120,000 only to find out later you had been overcharged is also on you. Caveat emptor No swimming in Bali..........Ridiculous. You really sound like a complete newbie Glad you are not coming back
positive@start1851 what? Volcano rocks? Most of bali beaches are far away from volcanoes and there are beaches where don't need to walk far to be able to swim the way you wanted.
positiveBeen to both , I personally prefer Bali just because it feels like there is more going on , better beach/jungle clubs , better quality of food , people say that they think the people in Bali are slightly more friendlier than in Thailand to me they were almost the same but I will say that the people in Bali weren’t as pushy when trying to sell you things as in Phuket , I also agree that the beaches in Phuket are better and I would say that I prefer the phi phi islands to the gili islands and that the traffic is also a little bit less chaotic , overall I would say Bali is better , but Phuket is still very good.

negativeYes taxis have become impossible in Bali and far from creating a more efficient market Grab have added to the corruption. I estimate the revenue from taxi scams at the airport is US$50m pa. That's a significant windfall for some officials. But it's the same across Indonesia and has now spread to Jogja train station. I'm now in Jogja because it was impossible to book hotels and flights to Bali, thanks to dynamic pricing, which are even bigger scam. All in all it is killing Bali as a tourist destination.

positiveHave a great trip, and a friend with 30 Bali visits is worth more than any guide. Airport to Kuta on Grab is a short ride, so the in-app fare is usually in the 100k to 150k rupiah range, just book from the official pickup area rather than accepting offers at arrivals. On the scooter, if the Kuta traffic looks like chaos to you, trust that instinct and stick with Grab for the first few days.
positive@nicholasrv8834 This is exactly what happened. When we arrived, he kept saying the destination was too far and demanded 200,000 rupiah. I told him we had already agreed on 120,000 rupiah. I also mentioned that the last time I travelled from this spot to Sanur by Grab, it cost less than 10,000 rupiah. Still, he kept insisting it was too far and stuck to 200,000 rupiah. I held firm to the agreed‑upon 120,000 rupiah. I handed him 150,000 rupiah, expecting him to give me my change. But his demeanour suddenly turned hostile. He claimed the trip was far too long and refused to give me any change. I generally have a decent impression of local people, yet his refusal to give back my change under false pretences really infuriated me. I chose to let it go simply to avoid confrontation, but the incident left me genuinely upset.
neutralTransportation..... what do you recommend ? Are you suggesting Grab for the whole trip. What about scooter hire, are you familiar with the ins and outs ? I fly there on the 31st October 2026... thanks.

Also, did you cover the Sidemen side as well, like the Lahangan Sweet area?

neutralHey! Great guide for Bali travel! Question / any tip kapag 8:30 AM yung flight back to Manila? Should we stay sa hotel na malapit na sa airport or kaya ba yung from Ubud / Seminyak?
neutralThank you for this informative video. I am confused where to start my trip? Ubud or Uluwatu? I was thinking to start from Uluwatu - Nusa Penida- Gilli Island - Ubud. Please advice?
neutralGood observation — the arrival numbers are heavily concentrated in a few pockets like Canggu, Seminyak and central Ubud, so much of the island still feels quiet. And you're right that outside peak months a lot of homestays sit well below capacity, so booking on arrival often works fine and can even get you a better rate.

neutralBhai very informative video, We are Aussie & planning to book flight from 01 sep to 08th Sept. we are just couple but like relaxing tour, with halal food option, massage and brief tour to scenic location. any suggestion of hotels, restaurent and tour operator please.
neutralIt seems that whilst the numbers suggest increasing numbers of visitors to Bali, there do not seem to be masses of people around - where do they go? I read somewhere that most hotels / homestays are rarely fully booked, so just arriving and find somewhere might be just as easy. (There is some really bad pronounciation in this video)
neutralWhich hotel did you stay at?
neutralCould u just help to book hotels? I mean if we are planning for 7 8 days for 2 people do we need to /how should we book hotels as we need to travel different areas
neutralIt is included in the ticket they pick from the port and drop you in ubud market center and you can get off in the middle if your hotel is near. We go off in the middle near our hotel.

neutralThere are still many places in Bali that you haven't visited, Sanur, Seminyak, Kuta and Canggu.
neutralI’d say start from uluwatu side but the centre which is near kuta and seminyak is advisable as it’s more closer to the port of sanur from where you’ll take a ferry for Gili and Nusa. After that leg go to Ubud. Btw there’s full sequence of vlogs on this channel for this trip you’re asking about. Just keep scrolling in latest video section and you’ll find it. 😊
neutralI can find an honest money changer in Kuta that pays more than 15% above the Airport Rate. You cannot find a taxi from Seminyak to Ubud for Rp 150,000. I have been to, Bali 23 times.
neutralThis video is total bull 💩 I’m in Bali now and everywhere you go it’s packed with tourists. Busy spots like Kuta are overflowing on Saturday nights 😂 Where do you get your information or is this video just another click bait
neutralYou can skip gilli as this journey is quote hectic , nusa penida is simple. Yoy can cover more places on mainland like kuta , canguu or towards the northern region for more offbeat waterfalls and stuff. We did not visit the sweet area.

positiveWhile I'd agree Vietnam is cheaper, Bali is more affordable for the value you get.
positiveTo be expected though right, you want to do touristy things in a touristy place it's going to cost ya! We still think it's great value 😊
positiveWe actually agree, can't believe how affordable it still is. So many weird comments online about how pricey it has got... we wonder if thats from the longer term expats/travellers though, long term accom has got a bit out of hand, but day to day the value to price ration is unbeatable.
positivehahaha so true! The quality x value of Bali is the best!
positiveIf I got that right, that that was the total for the entire day, for half of the group and not per person, then that is insane value.
positiveYup! $517 NZD for Stace and I, so John and Jess spent the same. It's HUGE value, but also for the quality, it's nearly unbeatable.
positiveThat's a very relevant point for anyone in NA, it's a loooong way to travel! But we always offer the counter point of value, you spend more on flights but look at what we got for like $280 USD in a day!

negativejust come back from.Bali.. overall preferred it over Phuket. Downside for me which you mentioned is nightmarkets and just walking around late at night. found Bali to be quiet after 10/11 oclock. oh traffic in Bali is horrible. both r great places though
negativeBeen to both , I personally prefer Bali just because it feels like there is more going on , better beach/jungle clubs , better quality of food , people say that they think the people in Bali are slightly more friendlier than in Thailand to me they were almost the same but I will say that the people in Bali weren’t as pushy when trying to sell you things as in Phuket , I also agree that the beaches in Phuket are better and I would say that I prefer the phi phi islands to the gili islands and that the traffic is also a little bit less chaotic , overall I would say Bali is better , but Phuket is still very good.
negativeBali all the way. Phuket is a sh*thole compared😂
negativeI like how Bali has less sex tourism and more spirituality. Phuket seems trashy with the visible prostitution all over the place
positivePhuket DESTROYS Bali! Thailand is simply superior to Indonesia period.
neutralDo you prefer Bali or Phuket more?

negativeWhat do you guys do to avoid “Bali Belly”? It’s the thing that’s always turned me off going there but I’m planning a trip next year as a group trip after friends keep telling me how great it is. So happy I’ve just found your channel to help me plan!
negativeSo much useful information...so many topics explained especially the warning about using bottled water even to clean your teeth..I made this mistake and cleaned my teeth with tap water..resulting in the dreaded Bali belly. Your enthusiasm and bubbly personality make these videos fun , like I am there with you.I look forward to many more of your travel videos...you keep it real and simple...Keep up the good work!!!!!!
positiveDidnt get bali belly once the 2 weeks i was there.. ate at a couple dodgy looking places too 😂, if you do get it enjoy it, its part of the experience 😂😂
neutralWhat else besides not drinking the water can I do to avoid Bali Belly? I’m super paranoid about it but planning a trip next year. A friend suggested some gut health tablets to take before every meal? Have you heard of this? So glad I found your channel. Thanks for the great tips too.
neutralNice video and information God bless you Dear 💝🙏 We are senior citizens want to visit Bali soon. I heard about Bali Belly means stomach gets upset. What precautions we should take. Pl guide if you can. Thanks n regards

negativeCouldn’t even get accommodation with a view in the USA for that. Let alone a day club, massage, 3 meals, alcohol, etc. An amazing value and an amazing day, not something you’d do every day, but a beach club every day is unnecessary and was over half of the budget…
positiveYou can do it yourself , it’s pretty simple if you follow the guide. Bali is very tourist friendly and everything is available, you can plan according to your choice and preference within your budget!
neutralLate reply, so you already had an epic time no doubt! Hope your budget worked all good
neutralWhat budget should I estimate for family of 4 adults
neutralIf you follow my itinerary around 2-2.5 lakh. But it would totally depend on how you manage your trip.

neutralCan you help me book the nusa penida trip in klook with hotel pickup and ferry…?
neutral@emailstoairportsI totally agree to it , but the point is If we are travelling different locations then do we need to carry our luggages? Ex. Nusa penida tour which is Via Ferry & we want to stay in Tree houses etc so what to do in such cases?
neutral@TRIPLEKKK5you will need to carry your luggage yourself only via ferry they have space for keeping the luggages.
neutralExplained so well I have a question on logistics if they provide any luggage facility near ports or do they allow to carry the luggages in ferry or extra cost?
neutralYou can carry the luggage in the ferry there are storage areas

positiveBack in Bali! I’m stoked for you guys to be back at a favorite place of yours and with friends. That’s special! Enjoy that! 🌴
positiveYeah we do that all the time, warungs is where it's at! But its always fun to have a bit of a blow out with some friends too
positiveFor us it's getting there (airfares) which makes it costly. We would be coming from the east coast of America. You guys did a lot in one day. And for the most part enjoyed yourselves. with your friends. Great Video Guys. Always love what you do. Hope you all are doing ok.👍👍 Sending you much love❤❤ from where we are now Nantucket Island, MA. Harriet, Jim and Yuki P.S. Have you been to the east coast of America?
positiveLoving that you are back in Bali and it is so different to other years. I suppose you are back in getting colder NZ by now so you will be wishing you still have the warmth of Bali. It is so much fun going with another couple. Bring on the rest of the series.
positiveIt's such a blast traveling with friends, even better doing that and escaping the cold!! Thanks for always leaving such lovely comments

negativewell new zealand prices are expencive so anywhere you go to outside your country is cheaper or much cheaper right?
neutralIndia is definitely not respected in Bali very arrogant for no reason and you steal everything love from New Zealand
neutralThe same goes in New Zealand! The value for money is unreal! Haha very true, especially when local beers are so cheap and we had a pool at our villa.
neutralHi from New Zealand Another great video with great scenery and information. Thanks for sharing Bali with us. $500 NZ dollars per day is fairly expensive I have not been to Bali. Have a great week and keep the great videos going thanks Jono

negativeWish it were true that no one comes to Bali anymore, I live here, it's more crowded than ever. An honest by line for this video might have been "Maybe fewer tourists will visit Bali in future," I live in hope.
positiveThis video is total bull 💩 I’m in Bali now and everywhere you go it’s packed with tourists. Busy spots like Kuta are overflowing on Saturday nights 😂 Where do you get your information or is this video just another click bait
positiveWhat a BS story, I have lived on Bali more than 20 years, and it's booming, there are tourists shifting from southwest to east and north, there is a Canggu fatique
positiveBali is packed this tourist season 😂 while there are things that need immediate attention from local authorities (waste management) the island is still seeing record number of tourists. Tourists are exploring other destinations within the island like Amed, Munduk vs the conventional areas like Seminyak and Kuta

Hey! Great guide for Bali travel! Question / any tip kapag 8:30 AM yung flight back to Manila? Should we stay sa hotel na malapit na sa airport or kaya ba yung from Ubud / Seminyak?
Hi, I have a question, when charting a car from airport to Ubud for 6 or 10hrs with tours on the way, do you also provide for your drivers food? Do you also have to give tips all the time when charting a ride or joining a tour? Not to be stingy but I am the sponsor for 9 people, I am the only one paying for everything from flight, hotels, food, etc on our 6days and 5nights trip to Bali so I want to know these small details. Also, when booking Nusa Penida on Klook, do they really not allow children of 5 years old and 60 plus years old to join the tour?
How come travel insurance is always a tip? I get travel insurance through my health insurance at work and I also get it through my Credit Card I used to purchase the trip.
Which month did you visit bali?
CAN I carry drone for bali. any restrictions in airport??? my drone weight is 249 gms

I was wondering how did you get International Driver's Permit? I am trying to apply for Indonesian IDP, and Indonesia is in the list of Restricted Countries on Parivahan website. I also checked with my nearest RTO office. They also said, I will not get IDP. If Indonesian Police catch you driving a scooter/car without IDP, I have heard, the fine is 25k Indian Rupees. Please reply.

Mate. Flights have become really expensive. Any tips to get cheaper options . Roundtrip is around 35-40k now
Transportation..... what do you recommend ? Are you suggesting Grab for the whole trip. What about scooter hire, are you familiar with the ins and outs ? I fly there on the 31st October 2026... thanks.
When I shower is it okay to get the water on my lips & face?
I totally get what you mean!
Hi ,love the video. Going to Bali, staying in the Hard Rock Kuta, 1st time going to Bali. Going to bring a small amount of local currency, is it better to exchange money in a reputable place like Gav Money Changer, use an ATM or put Rupiah on Revolut, what's your best advice. Maybe a mixture of all? Many Thanks in advance. Frank
@ItsIvyBond Thank you for your advice, reall appreciate it, one more question please, we intend to do 2 day trips, it seems like we can book a driver for about €60 for 10 hours, which is very cheap, should we book online before we go or wait utill we're there, can you recommend a particular driver/company? Many thanks again. Cheers, Frank
Do you mind sharing which resort you stayed at in Nusa Dua, the beach looked really nice. Thanks
What else besides not drinking the water can I do to avoid Bali Belly? I’m super paranoid about it but planning a trip next year. A friend suggested some gut health tablets to take before every meal? Have you heard of this? So glad I found your channel. Thanks for the great tips too.

Going there on the 31st October 26, so much to absorb/learn. Lucky to meet a friend there that has been to Bali more than 30 times ( must like it there Lol ! ) This is going to help immensely. Question as I will grab a Grab taxi from the airport to Jesen Inn 2 Kuta, jalan Bakung Sari. any idea what I should pay ? thanks. Undecided about scooter hire, its chaos on the roads there, will see.
It seems that whilst the numbers suggest increasing numbers of visitors to Bali, there do not seem to be masses of people around - where do they go? I read somewhere that most hotels / homestays are rarely fully booked, so just arriving and find somewhere might be just as easy. (There is some really bad pronounciation in this video)
We all have that one trip that altered how we view the world. Which place forced you to see life differently? 👇✨

@emailstoairportsI totally agree to it , but the point is If we are travelling different locations then do we need to carry our luggages? Ex. Nusa penida tour which is Via Ferry & we want to stay in Tree houses etc so what to do in such cases?

Flight in Rs. 60000 with baggage or not ? Because when I checked it was more expensive. Any suggestions?!
Explained so well I have a question on logistics if they provide any luggage facility near ports or do they allow to carry the luggages in ferry or extra cost?
This is very well written, thank you for sharing. The itinerary sounds like it involves quite a lot of travelling , does it get hectic or tiring and do you recommend anything else as I see gilli t and nusa would take a lof ferry time so which one can I skip if I have to? Also, did you cover the Sidemen side as well, like the Lahangan Sweet area?
thank you for answering,a follow up Question regarding renting bikes, is it mandatory to have IDP? or where we can rent w/o it in any place in bali?
Nice informative video. Can u guide about shuttle service from padang bai to ubud , which u mentioned ur video. Like where is stop of this shuttle service in padang bai port near to port or far? Also exact drop at ubud market? Name of this shuttle service?
Did you feel that 1 day in semiyank was not enough?
Hey guys super video , one of the most comprehensive video. Just want to know I am first time travel for Bali do i need to go with any travel agency or if I try self that would be fine. Can you suggest me. I already booked the tickets.

Suggest 5 days package for bali in june
How the experience of viejet airlines, it is Full service flight? I know that Singapore airlines is full service flight
Visa on arrival fees USA or pound acccpet
Good information given.... is internet works in nusa penida??
M Planning for April.. one more thing can you clarify about international driving licence.. except Ubud area can we rent scooter without international driving licence what u guys did to explore ulluwatu Seminyak or kuta
@ujjwaljhawar999IDP for Indonesia is restricted for Indians.. I’m also thinking what to do about this. Heard some suggestion that we can get IDP of Malaysia or Thailand and it would still work. Please let me know what you are planning to do.

Getyourguide or Klook mostly - links in the description for you
Can get away without paying the tourist levy.
LOADS of options for veggies, there's plenty of cafes that cater to everyone there
You can get a nice hotel in Kuta for about $18NZD/night (if staying for a while), $6 lunch & dinner at the hotel or warang it’s super cheap, nice walk along the beach a couple of times a day fantastic.. You can go much higher end as these guys did but for a long stay basic living is very good lovely beautiful place, lovely people - but very hot..
Mostly agree! If you stay longer the homestays are a bargain for sure - a month there vs a week of what we did. But totally agree, lots of great options in bali
Yup we hear ya! Scooter driving is key to avoid it... but for our wedding we hired a 15-seater and it was a real pain in the a$$
Bali is much more expensive than other parts of Indonesia. Have you been to central Java? Highly recommend it.
There are still many places in Bali that you haven't visited, Sanur, Seminyak, Kuta and Canggu.
Amazing! Indonesia is incredible. Two quick tips: Secure your first week of accommodation and any inter-island flights early for the best rates. Always bargain politely at local markets it is completely normal there. Have a safe trip! Please subscribe and share the video. Thanks for your love and support :)
Thanks for the excellent feedback! Regarding currency, it's generally best to use Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in Bali. While some larger establishments might accept USD, you'll get better exchange rates and avoid potential confusion by using local currency. ATMs are widely available for withdrawals.
Ooh there are SO many good places! Warung Local for Indonesian food and Suka Espresso is a must. There are heaps of good beach clubs in the area too, we really like Sundays for chill vibes. Hope you guys have an epic trip!
Sundays and Klive Beach Club is pretty nice, we went last year for our holidays. Tip: If you are planning to hit up multiple beach clubs, we bought this thing called a Bali beach club pass or something, which saved us a bit of money and got free drinks. Can't wait to visit Bali again!
Ulu is really bad now…please dont come if you dont have a good reason, like surfing…and please DO NOT COME IF YOU NEED A CAR TO MOVE AROUND. Roads are full already!
Fancy dinner at fancy restaurants or beach club usually biggest expenses that happened..ask your driver where local best warung and hidden gems legend restaurants might decrease your spending..
It's a great time to visit 😊

You can apply it online from government website.
If you follow my itinerary around 2-2.5 lakh. But it would totally depend on how you manage your trip.
Gili island toh nhi gye. And about restaurant tip is not mandatory, only if you want to do it voluntarily.
Not necessarily. I carried IDP but no one asked for it anywhere in bali.
Through government official ‘parivahan’ website. And no you don’t need to do driving test.
Alvo thooram poitu keela pogalina epdi bro😂 you missed the adventure. Risky but was adventurous💯
Tbh they didn’t even check once so you can skip it but if they ask then pay for it the airport.
They don’t ask for bank account statements. And I’ve not been to Medan so can’t comment
I’d say start from uluwatu side but the centre which is near kuta and seminyak is advisable as it’s more closer to the port of sanur from where you’ll take a ferry for Gili and Nusa. After that leg go to Ubud. Btw there’s full sequence of vlogs on this channel for this trip you’re asking about. Just keep scrolling in latest video section and you’ll find it. 😊
You can apply from anywhere the visa arrives within minutes
No if it’s in the same terminal and or same PNR
Check the first comment it has a link for free and paid pdf
No, if your pnr is same and in same terminal you don’t need one
No you don’t have to if it’s single PNR
INR to dollar and then dollar to IDR in Bali
Hi! I know that I felt the pinch on the way back. But it’s an unforeseen situation right now which has rarely happened in a few months it will get back to normal. Let’s all hope for that. Right now I’d say if you have any credit card points that’s the only way to get tickets cheap. I did that myself.
@amolrakheja8710yes it is if you book it early though
I still showered and washed my face normally! I just tried not to get the water in my mouth or swallow any. I kept my lips closed in the shower and used bottled water for brushing my teeth, just to be safe 😂 Happy travels
Hi Frank! For me, a mixture is definitely the way to go. I normally use a travel card like Revolut and only keep a smaller amount loaded on it at a time, then carry some rupiah for things like markets, tips, drivers and smaller places. If I need more cash, I’d rather use an ATM attached to a bank or somewhere secure, and I always decline the ATM’s own currency conversion and let my travel card handle it. I didn’t personally use Gav Money Changer, so I can’t really vouch for them. For a first Bali trip though, I’d bring a little cash with you, use the travel card for most things and top up or withdraw as you go rather than carrying a huge amount. Much less stressful! Hope you have the best first trip to Bali, Frank. I have a feeling it is the start of many Happy travels
I am an open book and love comments so thank you :) , it was Sofitel Nusa Dua, absolutely loved it, my favourite. full video here https://youtu.be/ZgoVmtM5LyM and I had to do a separate one for breakfast, because that was amazing https://youtu.be/V0jZGRP-FQg Let me know if you have any questions Happy travel
Thank you so much, I’m so glad you found my channel! 🥰 Besides only drinking bottled water, I also use it to brush my teeth, keep hand sanitiser with me, choose busy restaurants where the food turnover is high and avoid anything raw that may have been washed in tap water. I’ve heard of the gut health tablets and probiotics, but I wouldn’t rely on them alone if they work for a friend worth a try. I’d also definitely pack some medication just in case you do get sick, and ask your doctor or pharmacist what they recommend taking with you. Try not to stress too much though, just take sensible precautions and you’ll have the most amazing time in Bali! 💕Happy Travels
Excellent tips. Wish you had done this before we went in June. Perfectly correct about sunscreen. The shop where we were staying sold it for $50 Australian. Ended up buying it in Sanur for $30 which is still daylight robbery. A tip for a couple dining experiences to treasure. The cave dinner at Samabe Resort and the restaurant at Koral, at the Kompinsky Resort, the restaurant underwater. Both very expensive but absolutely superb fine dining and unforgettable. Do it once, and it will stay with you forever. Really enjoy your videos and always look forward them
Have a great trip, and a friend with 30 Bali visits is worth more than any guide.
Glad that part stood out! The small family-run warungs in that area are seriously underrated — some of the best meals in Bali are still under $3 if you skip the tourist strips.
Good observation — the arrival numbers are heavily concentrated in a few pockets like Canggu, Seminyak and central Ubud, so much of the island still feels quiet. And you're right that outside peak months a lot of homestays sit well below capacity, so booking on arrival often works fine and can even get you a better rate.
Hey 😊 Here's the Bali stay Details 👇 Ulluwatu - https://www.booking.com/Share-Li575G Nusa Penida - https://www.booking.com/Share-HlRVuG Gili - https://www.booking.com/Share-W2EKMt Ubud - https://www.booking.com/Share-UVQ87yO Don't forget to follow for more 🤗
You can do that , jan is off season so no problem, during immigration if they ask you can present the initial bookings
Hi, Thank you for watching our video. Bali Belly part - We did not experience anything at all during our visit and we ate at warungs and enjoyed drinks and food at beach shacks. But if you are still worried, eat at only restaurants and drink bottled water only, and carry basic medicines. Otherwise I don’t think it’s so much of an issue.
If you already have AUD, don’t convert it to USD first. Exchange AUD directly to IDR in Bali.
You can check booking.com for the locations you want to book and reserve it. We have also given links to stay options you can check those as well.
@TRIPLEKKK5you will need to carry your luggage yourself only via ferry they have space for keeping the luggages.
You can add it as card and then select it before booking the cab , same as we do for uber
You can find lots of restaurants and cafes with veg food, or you can opt for hotel breakfast. But veg/vegan foods are available in plenty even indian restaurants are there.
It was included for us, if it is not included for you it can be added on extra charges.
You can carry the luggage in the ferry there are storage areas
You can skip gilli as this journey is quote hectic , nusa penida is simple. Yoy can cover more places on mainland like kuta , canguu or towards the northern region for more offbeat waterfalls and stuff. We did not visit the sweet area.
@VinayVishnaniyou can rent without IdP everywhere but there is strict checking on mainland. nusa penida is fine without IDP there is not a lot of checking there.
It is included in the ticket they pick from the port and drop you in ubud market center and you can get off in the middle if your hotel is near. We go off in the middle near our hotel.
You can do it yourself , it’s pretty simple if you follow the guide. Bali is very tourist friendly and everything is available, you can plan according to your choice and preference within your budget!
@ganraj1616take ferries from trusted companies only, expect cancellation. Drive scooty only on islands not in Bali mainland. Book Gojek for taxi or 2-wheeler taxi. Take a e-visa before only.
@ganraj1616normal credit card is fine, you can pay in INR .
Scuba is best in Nusa Penida or Gilli islands , both have beautiful corals and clear waters. It is absolutely safe just book with PADI certified companies.

@devraj225i suggest you can stay mostly on the mainland - explore ubud, seminiyak and take a day tour to nusa penida to save time in ferry rides. Coz even if you can stay one night in nusa penida you will not be able to do any snorkelling tour coz all of them start early and return ferries also start early.

Only IDR, USD, AUD, EUR, SGD accepted.
@ujjwaljhawar999internet works well in Nusa Penida. Thanks for watching our video ❤
@ujjwaljhawar999you can rent only in Uluwattu not anywhere else on the mainland. In Uluwattu also confirm if there is any checking going on when you are visiting, we did not find any checking hence the hotel guys agreed to rent us.

4:05 This is Batu Cave in Malaysia, not in Bali.
I get the sentiment, but the infrastructure just isn't there for that to happen
But Bali isn't expensive? Not as cheap as Vietnam and Thailand is like a whole different economical beast
While I'd agree Vietnam is cheaper, Bali is more affordable for the value you get.
Haha either you’re rage baiting or your YouTube settings are on potato quality. It’s 4k.
You don’t get IDP for a specific country. It is valid for most foreign countries. While indonesia doesn’t come under the list but it still officially recognises the IDP issued from india.
Not required for Bali. Those are rumours. Also do you apply for e visa then too it’s not asked.
Statement required only for European countries trip, they ask to show it.
Minimum return flight from Delhi is 50k. 35-40k is a good price.
@thelosttravellerrwrong, its absolutely required
I can find an honest money changer in Kuta that pays more than 15% above the Airport Rate. You cannot find a taxi from Seminyak to Ubud for Rp 150,000. I have been to, Bali 23 times.
23 trips is serious Bali experience — thanks for the ground truth. Fair point on Seminyak to Ubud; metered or app prices have crept well past that lately and we should have framed it as a starting point for negotiation rather than a going rate. And you're right that a few authorized changers in Kuta beat the airport by a wide margin, which is exactly why we tell people never to change more than pocket money at arrivals.
AI slop with most photos not in Bali.
Bullshit! So many people I know have been to Bali recently or going to Bali including me. I've been going since 1988. What I don't like about Bali are the expat "digital creators", and "social influencers". However there are some YouTubers who give good advice - they don't live in Canguu. 🙂
This video is total bull 💩 I’m in Bali now and everywhere you go it’s packed with tourists. Busy spots like Kuta are overflowing on Saturday nights 😂 Where do you get your information or is this video just another click bait
BS !!! CLIC BAIT. August tourism numbers are higher than ever.
Wish it were true that no one comes to Bali anymore, I live here, it's more crowded than ever. An honest by line for this video might have been "Maybe fewer tourists will visit Bali in future," I live in hope.
Rubbish!!its thriving
Bali has no beaches suitable for swimming?? Lol. There are both coarse and smooth sand beaches all around bali. White sand, brown sand, black sand, you name it.
@yo_wassupdude You can tell you’re not much of a swimmer. Most beaches in Bali have shallow water, with volcanic rocks scattered all over the seabed. You might walk a full kilometre out into the sea and the water only reaches your waist, or even shallower. Further out are huge waves, great for surfing but not suitable for swimming.
@start1851 what? Volcano rocks? Most of bali beaches are far away from volcanoes and there are beaches where don't need to walk far to be able to swim the way you wanted.
Question: You stated near the end of the Vlog that Tourists are 'still flocking' to Bali in the 'millions' each year. Then how can you justify this Vlog and it's title..... Tourists Are 'Abandoning' Bali ??? Mixed mesages there !!!
What a BS story, I have lived on Bali more than 20 years, and it's booming, there are tourists shifting from southwest to east and north, there is a Canggu fatique
That’s not what several different businesses in Amed told me over the past two weeks or so.
Bali is packed this tourist season 😂 while there are things that need immediate attention from local authorities (waste management) the island is still seeing record number of tourists. Tourists are exploring other destinations within the island like Amed, Munduk vs the conventional areas like Seminyak and Kuta
Totally hipocritical to the actual content I believe !!!
भाई क्यों जूठ फ़ैला रहे हों???
Bali isn't an independent country. It's part of Indonesia.
Bali isn’t too expensive dont worry
Flight k fare Dekho aap pehle Or activities ka fare Mai bhee Bali se aaya hu 5 person k approx 8lakh lga h so please give correct information
It depends on what, when and how you book, we have shown all the details with proof of price.
@emailstoairportsmam maina bss ATV and rafting kiye toh 20k inr lg gya 2 logo ka swing wla m 6k or baaki activities k toh chod do aap all included would be more than 1.5 lakh
@emailstoairportsor aap Aab fare Dekho recent ka 3 months jb final payment krne waqt with taxes it will go around 50k for one person round trip
@bolgaya7644han ofcourse flights are getting costlier due to fuel shortage, we created the video much before that ! And its unfortunate that you had to pay so much amount for activities, but we have shown klook links with exact rates and ofcourse everything is subject to change during on season, may be you booked locally with their prices.
Vietjet is not full service flight unless you book the meals

This channel is worth sharing I learned a lot from it.
Oh gosh your dog in the end was so cute - loved this breakdown, you explain everything so simply
Very interesting indeed! After watching your films, I have the impression I don't need to visit Bali anymore, because I already know it so well. Great film! Congrats. I would also choose ATV adventure as my favourite activity on Bali. 😎☀
Hey Chelsea & Thomas's Adventures, great content you got here. Deserves more views and subs.Perhaps vyrotimes could help with that.
Worth visiting Bali just for the tree tunnel 😂
Couldn’t even get accommodation with a view in the USA for that. Let alone a day club, massage, 3 meals, alcohol, etc. An amazing value and an amazing day, not something you’d do every day, but a beach club every day is unnecessary and was over half of the budget…
Hi from New Zealand Another great video with great scenery and information. Thanks for sharing Bali with us. $500 NZ dollars per day is fairly expensive I have not been to Bali. Have a great week and keep the great videos going thanks Jono
Last time I left a nice comment for Stacy. This time, I'd like to say that I love how Dane's energy is always so contagious. You can really feel the positive vibes through the screen
We were in Bali about 4 years ago right after Covid and the prices seem to be about the same. So many YouTubers are saying Bali is really expensive now but your video seems to contradict that. You guys are such good people. We love watching your videos.
hahaha so true! The quality x value of Bali is the best!
Nice information 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 🏖️ 🌴🏔️
Simula pa lang nung video sobrang helpful na agad. Thank you and keep it up! Ang ganda po ng mga contents niyo

Wow! I am amazed that this channel has only 344 subs! Great video! I hope this grows to a really big one! Was researching for Bali, and I'm pretty clear about what I'm supposed to do there just from a single video, great job.
That's a really insightful and important perspective on Thai food and its potential health implications. It's definitely something to consider, especially for those with health concerns. Thanks for sharing this information.
So much useful information...so many topics explained especially the warning about using bottled water even to clean your teeth..I made this mistake and cleaned my teeth with tap water..resulting in the dreaded Bali belly. Your enthusiasm and bubbly personality make these videos fun , like I am there with you.I look forward to many more of your travel videos...you keep it real and simple...Keep up the good work!!!!!!
@richieparrish842 You will love it. Both are fabulous.
@ItsIvyBond The dinner in the beach cave is so relaxing. Beautifully decorated and the service is first class. The food is exceptional
I died just from watching. Although the view is good. But i am a coward. 😂
It was such an amazing experience 🥺
Interesting food options at 6:40
BS; It all depends on what you want or expect. If you are willing NOT to go to resorts & go out of the way, you will still be enchanted because you can experience something that our places of origins have either not had or have lost. Following trends or adhering to advice, will ALWAYS cheat you of some of the most personal and valuable experiences to be had. Keep you mind OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Your Bali Videos are so nice. I like that you mentioned the animal cruelty 🙏. The Photo Spots are wild😳, so crowded.
Perbandingan yang obyektif dan masuk akal
I like how Bali has less sex tourism and more spirituality. Phuket seems trashy with the visible prostitution all over the place
New subscriber found your channel quite interesting specially your knowledge about Southeast Asia , you explained very well it’s easy to understand thank nate

Interesting! Thanks for all the info ☺. This will be really helpful when I can afford to travel past my local area. Now I just need to win the lotto so I can make it happen 😂
Very Detailed and beautiful illustration,Thanks for preparing such a nice stuff
Very useful and upto the point information. Thanks 😊
After watching hours and hours of content about Bali trip planning, I can confidently say this video is a gem for any person who's looking to plan the trip by himself !! I'll share this video across to anyone who asks for help in Bali itinerary planning. Many thanks.
Perfect informative video. Mentioned all the details that I was looking for. Thanks a lot. 👍
Very useful video on youtube for Bali trip
best video Thanks a lot ❤
Really appreciate the efforts you guys put in to explain every single details.
I think this is the one of the best video on Bali trip guide
Wonderful explaination of the entire journey. You explained everything so nicely. I discussed with travel agencies today and it is costing almost 1.6L+ for only 7D/6N for the entire trip.
Explained very well 🙌🏻
One of the most comprehensive video. You deserve more subscribers. Keep up the good work.
Great explanation I don't see this much of explanation by anyone my trips this one be the greatest video I see till now ❤️ Blindly I can follow you
@emailstoairportsthank you for such a informative video, already share with my wife 😉
Honestly the most comprehensive Bali video I have seen on the internet!!! Thanks guys ❤🤗 Amazing video 🔥
Great and well explained.😊
Very well made and very informative video! Thanks a lot!

It cost me my partner and my 2 kids over 30k nzd 10k was just to get there, we basically got a limo every where, the driver was ours for the week, we stayed at the hard rock and we did basically everything
Didnt get bali belly once the 2 weeks i was there.. ate at a couple dodgy looking places too 😂, if you do get it enjoy it, its part of the experience 😂😂
Very cool and REAL review. After staying 3 years in Ubud I can say that the accomodation is pretty much the same price, plus at the moment rupiah got a much cheaper conversion rate. I'd say the supermarket prices definitely went up. And the coffees for sure..it used to be 25-30k for a flat white and now it's 40-60k plus tax. I guess there is a shortage of coffee indeed lol. Great series anyways 🎉
We've long term lived/expat stayed there a few times already and LOVED it. It's cheaper to live longer than travel like we did.
We're finally moving back to Auckland from Australia, ex Londoner living downunder, ill look out for you two, great blog as per usual cx
Hey guys, following since your Plovdiv series! You deserve way more views! Bali is heaven on earth, loved every minute of it. People say it is overrated, I say it is underrated. Loved Melasti beach as well!
Grabe super detailed at may masterlist pa 👏 naalala ko when I started backpacking around 2016-2017 poor traveler na guide namin blog palang nun print pa namin as guide kasi DIY talaga dipa uso ang klook kaya nagbabasa talaga😂. Kudos to both of you! Super helpful kayo sa kapwa traveller ❤
I’ve definitely had the same experience, it pays to stay vigilant whenever you're settling up! Thanks for watching. I think the other bit is im use to the final price always been shown so need to do the maths. Happy Travels Hyphen-h :)
The Philippines is stunning too, I went there I think in 2017. Bali definitely has a special magic to it! 😊 Happy Travels Tiffany :)
I went there before
I came into Bali on 15 Oct and the airport was the busiest I've ever seen it.
After 20 years living in Bali, moving back to Canada 😊
Just back from 3 weeks in Bali. Been there, got the tee shirt and most likely won’t be back. No interest at all in being near digital nomads, western “health” freaks, “travelers’ etc etc so went to an upmarket diving area. Beautiful environment, beautiful undersea scenes but far too many folk diving the same space etc, too many ‘woke” western style restaurants and too many idiots on very noisy motorbikes racing up and down the Main Street. I already live in SE Asia and too much in Bali was the same. At times, but not always, poor service, terrible traffic jams and driving, trash all over, dangerous pavements- same, same food. We found business owners etc more interested in maintaining their super-host status, Google and Trip Adviser reviews via making pathetic excuses and trying to induce sympathy rather than actually providing a great service. We had some very good experiences but I found, if an activity was good, it was expensive. Denpasar airport really should use more than one of its baggage collection belts. Have never waited so long for luggage and, apparently, that’s the norm. The people are friendly but they are where I live. Tourists equal money - it doesn’t mean they like you, often far from it. It’s hot where I live so may as well stay home rather than venture to Bali again.
I negotiated with a Grab driver outside Sanur Harbour for a motorbike ride to my accommodation, as I had no mobile network.
@nicholasrv8834 This is exactly what happened.
I agree with most of this video. My first visit was 50 years ago and I have been back many times. Our last two visits were unpleasant, traffic, poor infrastructure, crowds and garbage everywhere. The Balinese people are beautiful but it’s not the same. I have Bali fatigue… I will go back because I just will, I still have a longing for Bali, but will be very careful where we stay and definitely not in wet season or major European holiday time.
I visit Bali since 1994 two times every year, everything its true! But i come back until i will passed away, because i am in love with Bali and his nice people and culture!
just come back from.Bali.. overall preferred it over Phuket. Downside for me which you mentioned is nightmarkets and just walking around late at night. found Bali to be quiet after 10/11 oclock. oh traffic in Bali is horrible. both r great places though
always get thai tummy in thailand
Been to both , I personally prefer Bali just because it feels like there is more going on , better beach/jungle clubs , better quality of food , people say that they think the people in Bali are slightly more friendlier than in Thailand to me they were almost the same but I will say that the people in Bali weren’t as pushy when trying to sell you things as in Phuket , I also agree that the beaches in Phuket are better and I would say that I prefer the phi phi islands to the gili islands and that the traffic is also a little bit less chaotic , overall I would say Bali is better , but Phuket is still very good.
Yea its not enough, there was so much we could not cover but was short on time😅
complaint38
I like that you broke down each expense by different currencies, but you guys must be Rich, cause there is no way I could spend that much. Not happenin. 😁
I get all the good things and costs, done it and it’s very appealing. I could never ever get in that heaving traffic again - we spent hours beyond hours getting around . Huge minus for there unfortunately. Great video series as always guys!!!!
This is just my opinion, but I have a strong feeling Bali is becoming the next Dubai. Seeing so many wealthy Russians move their money there only makes me believe it even more
So glad I’m an Aussie it’s so much cheaper
bali is so expensive because people turn up and say "WOW THIS IS SO CHEAP, HERES TEN TIMES MORE MONEY.... SO CHEAP" same thing happened to thailand and is now happening to vietnam
yeah, it's getting expensive for the wrong reason. As a local in Vietnam, I'm now staying far away from Da Nang because the stupid influencer guru mess it up.
Not a cheap place anymore, Vietnam is the best place now, more developed less hogan's and great people
This is expensive for Indonesian terms. But as they say, Bali is not Indonesia (anymore) 😅
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing 😊 Would have so loved t hear which areas you’re actually exploring. Ie, “for breakfast we’re heading to the Bingin area which is x minutes away from our accommodation in x”. Makes it so much easier to orient Uluwatu.
What's wrong with ur camera the video is poor quality
Stop making videos about how cheap is this how cheap is that…total disrespect with the locals…they are not your slaves.
First comms as always, no upload last week...
Hello po! Can’t find the travel card link.
Hey thank you for this video .. I’m traveling to Bali and Vietnam in late April into May .. the immigration documents was so confusing
very bad itineary
I am very concerned about the poeple who will follow this itinerary and waste their time and money on the super touristy ghisi piti places
AAP free pdf free pdf Bol rahe ho wo to 350 charge kar raha Hai paisa dene Bol raha hai
bro the adding extra charges is so real. ive caught them so out so many times charging for extra stuff or not giving the correct amount back
Tip number one don’t use ai for a crap looking thumbnail
@ItsIvyBonda picture of you or your holiday that’s real would look a hundred times better
A few years ago in Bangkok I went to Bumrungrad International Hospital to visit an ex pat who just had heart surgery. The doctor who did the surgery said the same thing that the main cause of heart disease is directly linked to Thai food .What so many people do not know is that Thai food have high concentration of sodium, sugar and cheep seed oils that are an absolute killer on the cardiovascular system and also a precursor for diabetics . By the way just for information the seed oil that they use to fry everything is even worse than the sugar and sodium combined . The doctor also said that the second major factor of heart disease is the terrible air pollution in Bangkok .So anybody who try to glorify Thai food need to think before they talk .
Have been in Bali just over a years ago and I have to admit, all the Thai islands are far better than Bali. Beaches much more cleaner, the water in the ocean is more turquoise, thai food much more yummy. Bali it's good and I love people over there but highly overrated in my humble opinion.
Thanks so much, i'm so glad you enjoyed the video and you are normally one of the first to comment, which I really appreciate. The price of sunscreen is so much! 😅 Those restaurant recommendations sound incredible. I've added them to my list for next year! I'm also working on a website, and when I head back to Bali I want to build a proper list of my favourite restaurants, activities and places I'd genuinely recommend. One of my besties lives there too, so I'm hoping to include plenty of local recommendations as well. I hope the video helps your family who are heading over soon. Thanks again for sharing your tips, and happy travels! 😊
Tourism industry is all about scamming with a smile 🙏😊
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 This is a AI Dross 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Yes taxis have become impossible in Bali and far from creating a more efficient market Grab have added to the corruption.
Padahal Singapore saja malah membuat pantai.
What a crock of bs! This, like almost all these negative clickbait stories, looks at the 2 most populated areas, from Kuta to canggu & Ubud. There is the east, west & best of all the north of this amazing island , like Lovina area, Munduk, etc. This region is still sublime & puts to shame your crappy reporting. Do more research before publishing such rubbish!
Visa fee as robbed whereas visiting Malaysia 3 months free of charge. 62 cannot compete at all. Whereas Kuta Legian is biggest probleem complex . The biggest garbage island n paradise island. No waste management at all.
Gili Trawangan is just a few kilometres away from Lombok, yet prices there are several times higher.
Bad campaigne.. I think its not work
Vietnam is rapidly going the same way due to the onslaught of ignorant tourists. It, too, is no longer the country it was when I first went there in 1988.
BS... title
Looked like a good safari. People in cages, the right way to do it :)
Phuket DESTROYS Bali! Thailand is simply superior to Indonesia period.
Both are a visit once type of destinations if you hate inauthenticity 😅
Bali all the way. Phuket is a sh*thole compared😂
hate17
India is definitely not respected in Bali very arrogant for no reason and you steal everything love from New Zealand
Quality Travel comes with the price. Budget Travel should just stayed at their hometown.
Gosh I miss life before influencers.
@TravelingBandaevery itinerary will be better than your ghisi piti itinerary
@amritasingh5513accha toh give no? Let’s see what unique itinerary you have. Bak bak mat kar. Kaam pe lag aur itinerary de
@Tra@TravelingBandacrybaby uncle stop crying about your shitty itinerary
@amritasingh5513you married an uncle so I guess you have more information on that subject matter vs the itinerary which have no idea about 🤣
@TravelingBandaawwwww …. Go wash your face you crybaby… 5 baar bali jake ye ghoom ke aye ho 😂
@amritasingh5513 haha at least you admit that you married a uncle. As for the itinerary afra khanum take your morcha to jantar mantar and stay there 🤣
Appalling pronunciation in this digital age. GO back to school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't expect too much when it comes to management. Their brains are not big enough for that. They are only good at corruption. They probably don't even understand what you are talking about😅
Nonsense. Check tourist arrival numbers 2026 and get a life.
It's new age colonialism that's destroying that place foreigners live like kings whilst locals scrape through with 400 a month and live in shacks it's utterly shameful....
I am pretty certain you could have walked up to the front desk of your accommodation and they would have given you change for your 50,000. or a convenience store was probably nearby. So that is on you. The fact that you agreed to the price of 120,000 only to find out later you had been overcharged is also on you. Caveat emptor No swimming in Bali..........Ridiculous. You really sound like a complete newbie Glad you are not coming back
Omong kosong propaganda memfitnah kami orang Indonesia tidak pernah bersaing dengan negara lain Jagan main licik hati hati jika intelijen Indonesia bergerak negara mau coba memijokan Indonesia menghentikan pasokan sumber daya alam ke negara tersebut
Sy tinggal di Bali. Sampai sekarang Bali tetap Ramai..sy rasa chanel anda mau memojokan Bali. Karena ada konspirasi di belakangnya dengan membuat narasi memojokan Bali

Love from India ❤
Short answer no
To each their own! 😊
Dam that's cheap I was stressing out as im going to Bali for 10 nights on Tuesday next week and have $3k NZD saved (Pure spending money, accommodation is paid for already) when I wanted closer to 4 but I should be fine as il probably be doing similar activities and eating at similar places as you both.
Late reply, so you already had an epic time no doubt! Hope your budget worked all good
Great work guys!
Thank you! We really appreciate the support. 🙌
We definitely went a bit overboard on this trip, you can definitely do it way cheaper! 😅
Thanks so much! Haha yeah Nalu is (mostly) so cute!
Thanks for the thoughts - yeah we agree, small incremental changes that aren't all that noticeable, but it is happening !
Hi Alan. Greetings I hope my message didn’t come across as invading your privacy. I just wanted to say I came across your comment and profile, and it really stood out to me, it reflects someone with a kind and genuine heart. I don't normally write in the comment section, but I think you deserve this compliment, I would like us to be friends. God bless you……🌺🌺🌺
Yes! Raja Ampat! I'm looking forward to those videos when you get there 😊
That's ridiculous! But also, 3 years ago, 9 days in Finland just after Christmas we paid about 30k AUD for 4 people. Yes, Aurora was worth it. The most important thing is - did you have a good time?
Yeah for something like Finland that lines up, I bet it was incredible though! And yes, we had an incredible time thank you
Hahaha but thats the thing, Bali balances that right in the middle
Not yet, no! We're trying to hit somewhere different in Indo each trip now, Java is high on the list
Sorry for the delay, no flights included in these prices
No that was all just expenses in the country, but it does include the domestic flights to Labuan Bajo 😊
You know what, we’re quickly running out of time! 😅
Awww, no Qtown this year!! You'll get withdrawal symptoms. I will say hi for you both when I go in November.

Thank you so much, we're glad you enjoyed the tour and that you’re a fan of the ATV adventures too! 😊
Thank you for the suggestion, we really appreciate the kind words about our content!
A tree tunnel 😂 what is better ?!
@D@DaneAndStaceysit. I want to move there! I follow a guy named Richard Garcia in the real estate space & he makes a great case for living in Bali. It is SUPER far though. Currently in Florida and that’s pretty good too 🌴 But yeah I love to watch these videos now that Bali is on my radar. Checking it out remotely. Appreciate the content
Dane and Stacey, I've never seen you guys go to Amed.
Not yet...
@DaneAndStaceyKeep up the Videos bro chur!
The same goes in New Zealand! The value for money is unreal! Haha very true, especially when local beers are so cheap and we had a pool at our villa.
To be expected though right, you want to do touristy things in a touristy place it's going to cost ya! We still think it's great value 😊
This is great feedback, thanks for letting us know - we'll keep it in mind for the next one 😊
I do love a day club, I just booked cretya
Ooh hope you have the best time!
That was definitely our most expensive day, the cost came down from then on - we're actually sharing a Bali Costs video tonight which breaks down the average daily budget. Hope you had a great week too, Jono!
That's awesome, hope you had the best time! There are just SO many resorts it's hard to narrow down. Is there a specific area you're interested in?
That's awesome to know! We will definitely be looking into this for our next trip - thanks for sharing 😊
Woohoo! Hope the move goes well 😊
Slaves? You ever actually watched our videos and seen how we interact with locals.. that's crazy talk. Bali is affordable for travellers, with incredible quality, thats it, that's the story.
Haha ok Boss man
Back in Bali! I’m stoked for you guys to be back at a favorite place of yours and with friends. That’s special! Enjoy that! 🌴
Thanks so much! Definitely making the most of it with the crew 🌴✨
Yeah we do that all the time, warungs is where it's at! But its always fun to have a bit of a blow out with some friends too
yeah bali island is bigger than mega city around the globe
Still so much for us to explore as well
Yeah we've heard of it, haven't been keeping up with what he's been up to with the property though
I appreciate that! I honestly get sick of hearing myself talk when I edit, so it's nice to read this lol
Thanks! Oh yeah those islands up the coast of Queensland were incredible - lots to share from there soon!
100%! Better quality in a lot of ways, but also cheaper
If it goes up .75 cents they get shocked….most people there need uber cheap pricing for them to sustain themselves. Bali no matter where you go is infinitely more cheap than the west.
We actually agree, can't believe how affordable it still is. So many weird comments online about how pricey it has got... we wonder if thats from the longer term expats/travellers though, long term accom has got a bit out of hand, but day to day the value to price ration is unbeatable.
Yup! $517 NZD for Stace and I, so John and Jess spent the same. It's HUGE value, but also for the quality, it's nearly unbeatable.
That's a very relevant point for anyone in NA, it's a loooong way to travel! But we always offer the counter point of value, you spend more on flights but look at what we got for like $280 USD in a day!
Wish we could help very specifically, but it's still a massive place!
Loving that you are back in Bali and it is so different to other years. I suppose you are back in getting colder NZ by now so you will be wishing you still have the warmth of Bali. It is so much fun going with another couple. Bring on the rest of the series.
It's such a blast traveling with friends, even better doing that and escaping the cold!! Thanks for always leaving such lovely comments
Damn it's been a LONG time since Plovdiv, thanks for the support! 😊 We agree, Bali gets a bad rep in places, but we still love it
🏆 we were away filming, needed sleep 😅
Around 1 Lac per person as flights are a bit too high these days
around 1.5 lacs for 2 person
Glad you found it helpful! 🙏🏻
very informative thank you!

I am going in a week. This was very helpful thank you so much!
I’m so glad you found it helpful and I hope you have the most amazing time in Bali! :) Happy travels
Thank you kindly
Ahh thank you so much! This genuinely made my day. The whole point of that video was to make Bali feel a little less overwhelming, so I’m so happy it helped you get clear on what to do. And thank you for the lovely words about the channel too. Still such a tiny channel, so hopefully one day we can look back at 344 subs and laugh 😂 I’m actually heading back to Bali next year too, so there’ll definitely be more Bali content coming. Hope you have the best trip! if you have any further questions feel free to ask. Happy travels
I appreciate the feedback on the thumbnail, and I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos! I do appreciate you taking the time to watch and let me know. Happy travels.

Of course, happy to help :)
Thank you so much! 😊 I'm so sorry you had to experience Bali belly, but hopefully your story helps someone else avoid it. Your comment has honestly made my day. It means so much to hear that the videos feel like you're travelling with me, because that's exactly what I'm hoping to create. Thank you for watching, supporting the channel and taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. I can't wait to share more adventures with you. Happy travels!

Glad you found it helpful! 🌴
Omg that looks so cool!!
The smile is the part that catches people off guard. The good news is most of the Bali ones are easy to sidestep once you know the pattern, which is why we made the video.
Really valuable firsthand perspective — interesting (and a bit depressing) to hear the airport taxi situation has spread to Jogja train station too. The dynamic pricing squeeze on hotels and flights is something a lot of travelers mention but rarely gets covered as a scam in its own right. Hope Jogja treats you better than the booking process did.

Serves as a warning to other countries
YES Its a sign of the times, The whole world is changing, and demographics are not the same. indonesia has always been crowded , and a test , as the infrastructure is not easy to maintain. tourism has changed. No many euopeans or americans . there are now many other destination choices. Domestic tourism is huge here , as is asean and asian in general. (India , china, korea Middle east) Are the predominant tourists. Not the beach loving caucasians. , who have mooved on ..Perhaps its why, MALLS, Theme parks, beach clubs, Seafood retoes etc are the popular destinations and thriving here . The times they are a changing, Go with the flow. .. . .
I hope everybody believes this... It might slow down the ravaging of Bali, and give it a chance to clean up and upgrade infrastructure.
Yes I agree this is some sort
If you have questions or need any recommendations let me know

Thanks John
Brilliant stuff, looks like a lot of fun..❤❤
Thanks Grandad! It was amazing to be so close to the animals and for us to be in the cage rather than them!
Bali is a colony of Australia. That means there are Australians everywhere, but because of the Australians the locals speak pretty good English, better than in Thailand, Cambodia, or Vietnam, and the signs in all stores and grocery stores are in English.
Thanks for the information mate
You’re welcome, hope it helps with your future travels!
💯
INDONESIA &THAILAND adalah sahabat dekat di asia tenggara...❤❤

Bali Weather in mid November ?
Very informative. How many days are required to cover most important places ?
Hi, I have a question, when charting a car from airport to Ubud for 6 or 10hrs with tours on the way, do you also provide for your drivers food? Do you also have to give tips all the time when charting a ride or joining a tour? Not to be stingy but I am the sponsor for 9 people, I am the only one paying for everything from flight, hotels, food, etc on our 6days and 5nights trip to Bali so I want to know these small details. Also, when booking Nusa Penida on Klook, do they really not allow children of 5 years old and 60 plus years old to join the tour?
Again I watched this video n couldn't stop myself.. Best video yaar.. Kitna easy way ke plan bataya. ❤ 1 point miss hua pls tell me Bike rent karne kya documents diye Pla share links to book nusa penida trip from klook which u shared in video

Transportation..... what do you recommend ? Are you suggesting Grab for the whole trip. What about scooter hire, are you familiar with the ins and outs ? I fly there on the 31st October 2026... thanks.
I totally get what you mean!

What do you guys do to avoid “Bali Belly”? It’s the thing that’s always turned me off going there but I’m planning a trip next year as a group trip after friends keep telling me how great it is. So happy I’ve just found your channel to help me plan!
What else besides not drinking the water can I do to avoid Bali Belly? I’m super paranoid about it but planning a trip next year. A friend suggested some gut health tablets to take before every meal? Have you heard of this? So glad I found your channel. Thanks for the great tips too.

I am planning in jan 1st week so should i book hotel in advance or its fine if i can just book for initial 2-3 days and for remaining i can book after landing in bali

Transportation..... what do you recommend ? Are you suggesting Grab for the whole trip. What about scooter hire, are you familiar with the ins and outs ? I fly there on the 31st October 2026... thanks.

I totally get what you mean!

@ujjwaljhawar999IDP for Indonesia is restricted for Indians.. I’m also thinking what to do about this. Heard some suggestion that we can get IDP of Malaysia or Thailand and it would still work. Please let me know what you are planning to do.
